Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk it up. Add the cranberries and combine them with the egg. Let this mixture chill for an hour.
In the meantime line your baking trays with baking paper.

After an hour preheat the oven at 175 degrees top and bottom heat.

Chop the white couverture into pieces and set aside until you need the couverture.
Put the butter into a bowl, add the brown sugar and the vanilla sirup. Whisk it well until the sugar dissolves.
Then sift the flour and the baking powder into this mixture and add the ground almonds, the pinch of salt, the egg cranberries mixture, and the chopped white couverture.
Using your hands or a spoon combine the ingredients until they are well incorporated.
With your hands form the dough into balls and place them about one inch apart on the baking tray.
Finally, place the baking tray on the middle rack in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. The baking time depends on the size of your cookies.
