Spaghetti with spinach and tomatoes (Spaghetti con Spinachi e Pomodoro)
  1. Wash and clean the spinach.
  1. Remove the stalks and unpleasant parts. Set the spinach aside.
  2. Peel and chop the onions and the garlic cloves.
  1. Pour the oil into a pan and heat it at medium heat.
  2. Add the onions and the garlic and fry them until they are soft.
  3. Chop the spinach into stripes and add it to the onions and the garlic.
  4. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. In the meantime prepare the Spaghetti according to the instructions given on the packing.
  6. Season the spinach to taste with the salt and the pepper and add the pinch of nutmeg.
  7. Wash and halve the cocktail tomatoes.
  8. Add the tomatoes into the pan and season them with salt.
  9. Chop the mozzarella into slices and add 1-2 slices to the spinach and tomatoes.
  10. Let the mozzarella melt.
  11. Put the spaghetti on two plates and arrange the vegetables on top of the pasta.
